Perseus VSR10 / SSG10 Hop Chamber

The Perseus VSR10 / SSG10 Hop Chamber has a been a longtime project, that’s been tested over many years over many variations.

The main features of the hop chamber are the true TDC adjustment, which goes through the top of the chamber and directly down on to the purpose built nub (Designed around the Flamingo bucking), the TDC itself is adjusted via a small profile setup on the outer barrel, which Is directly attached to the chamber, no tape or glue required. The included detent and wheel offer very small micro adjustments that don’t adjust on their own.

Due to the tolerances and design of the chamber, it has a near perfect seal across most buckings on the market (thought the chamber performs best when paired with the Flamingo).

Alignment is easy due to the simple design of the front chamber section and the ability to accurately confirm the bucking position before needed to install a single screw. You can simply install the bucking, put the nub into position and press down, immediately able to see if you’ve aligned the bucking correctly.

Due to the 3-point alignment of the chamber (2 bottom and 1 top), if offers incredible shot to shot consistency and reliability, massively reducing inconsistencies caused by outer barrel flex/rotation. Additionally, as part of the install process, you’re able to essentially centre to hop unit in the outer, relative to the nozzle position.

Installation Notes:

Not required, but offered as a free part, there is a downloadable sleeve here which I like to use on my builds, which sits inside the outer barrel and removes any cylinder movement inside the outer barrel. Depending on your barrel, printer and material, you can sand it to fit. For anyone who’s watched my videos, you’d have seen me provide this before.

Overtightening of the side retention screws can and will damage your inner barrel.

Unbridged barrels only with a sufficiently sizes hop window

New holes must be drilled or existing holes widened where required.
